"Celtic defender Bobo Balde has failed to agree a move to Fulham after holding talks with the London club.
The Guinea international has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave Celtic on a free transfer before the summer transfer window closes.
But BBC Sport understands Fulham could not tempt the 29-year-old south of the border to Craven Cottage.
French club Marseille spoke to Balde earlier this month but could not match the player's wage demands. "
It makes you wonder why this was ever placed in his contract in the first place???Maybe thats the only way he was going to stay and as we were short of Defenders there wasnt much MON could do about it.I would say at the moment we need the big man in there.Not his biggest fan but him and Mcmanus are just starting to develop a partnership.We will see what unfolds.
On a slightly different note....never bet on Brazilian teams.They lost me £856 last night.I had 9 minutes to hold out for 9 minutes!!!!
